Base assembly
Insert the T-nuts as shown in the pictures
Screw the 4 corners
Screw the 4 feet under the base
Screw the 2 HGR15 rails on each side
Add the carriage
Add the 2 Y-axis motors on each side
Assemble the ball screw part like this (to be done on both sides)
And fix them on the base
add the tray
Gantry assembly
Overlap the 820×80 and 820×60 profiles like this and insert the T-nuts as shown
Screw the rails on the front
Screw the left vertical part of the gantry
Assemble the X-axis ballscrew like this:
Screw the assembly onto the vertical part of the left gantry
Screw the right vertical part of the gantry
Screw the right part of the ball screw
Screw the 1st plate (without forgetting the spacers)
Attach the Z axis rails
Assemble the Z-axis ballscrew like this:
Then screw it onto the plate with the Z motor mount
Fix the Z plate without forgetting the spacers
Mount the spindle holder
Attach the Z motor, pulleys and belt
Attach the X motor like this:
Screw the 2 reinforcement angles
Assemble the gantry to the base
Installing the endstops
Remember to adjust and tighten the pre-tightened screws, the mechanical assembly is complete
