Layer shift on top layers

Message par ormerod »

I have purchased this printer and it is awesome, first prints were perfect but as of my 5th print the last layer started shifting. I chacked the usual suspects for layer shifting, belt tension and carriage bumping into the print and shifting the whole print .... nothing like that is happening .... it is strange it will print flawlessly up to the last layer of any height, then the last 2-3 layers it will print them 2-3 cm lower than the rest ruining the print .... Any help ? Machine seems like it is in tip top condition and i tried cura and slicer with various settings and same thing happens, i would understand if something went wrong at layer x .... but its always the top layers of any height print sliced in any slicer .... and it started randomly first prints did not get this .... :?: any help would be greatly appreciated,
