Hey friends!

I‘m new here, located in austria near the hungarian border. I‘m using an Anycubic i3 mega about 3 month‘s, and now i want to build the i3 RS.

I have only one question at the time.
I need the printer as silent as possible..
Is it possible to use the MKS GEN-L with TMC2208 instead of the base 1.6?
Can I use the firmeware with this board?

I would need a bigger case for the electronics, i know.. but that shouldn‘t be the problem.

Hi Christof,

Yes you can use a Gen-L instead of the base, the firmware should work.
You'll maybe have to do some minors changes.
You have to know that MKS base 1.6 drivers are very quiet but if you want another board/drivers, you can !
