Hi! Im almost finishing my I3-RS building and use MK8 Extruder instead of the great Romain design. In the past I have a lot of problems with this extruder (E3D-V6) and decided to move for an Geetech MK8. I designed an mount for a MK8 extruder that fits to X dolly of I3-RS and using a 18 mm NPN NO capacitive sensor instead BLTOUCH. If you had issues with the chinese V6, you could purchase a genuine E3D V6 and keep the I3-RS extruder.
