Hi,
I have some problems.
R-CNC is almost completed but I'm experiencing some troubles. I'm converting *dxf file in Estlcam and when I'm starting program the machine starts the code but than the electronics (Ramps) is restarting by itself :(
I don't know what to do. Maybe somebody can help me? Please.
Sometimes it is going ok with the square (for example) but sometimes restarting. When I'm trying to "cut" circle machine is doing strange things I mean everything instead a circle :(
I'm not cutting yet it's only "dry" run without spindle running etc.
When I'm moving axes by software, all working fine.
Where can be a problem?

-try a job with repetier host, and put the logs 'on' to see if it's you can 'read' the problem

-If you can, try to touch the 3 drivers and the Mega+Ramps to see if it's not too hot. Put a strong fan if needed.

-if you're using USB, use the short blue one.

-if it's a chinese Mega, you can have trouble just because of that

Thanks Aze,

The drivers tb6600 and ramps&arduino are cold not even little bit warm.
Tomorrow I will try short USB cable and log in RepetierHost.
Mega......it's 99,9% Chinese .
I had changed the threaded rod but still the same. :roll:

Check if the 99.9% is well welded. Very often, the green part is crap. Otherwise, do you have any problems with the power supply (your ledstrip is constant or not)?

At least, you know where the problem comes from.
You can try that:

-Change the X driver with the Y one. Test again.

-Try to lower some X values (for example max_feedrate: 10, max_acceleration: 25, default_acceleration: 25, default_travel_acceleration: 25, default_XY_jerk: 2.5) and test if it's working. (in configuration.h in Marlin)

-Check (again!) if your X driver is correctly set to 16microsteps and with the correct voltage.

-Check the EEPROM values in Repetier Host (they must be the same as Marlin, otherwise reset the values in Repetier to have the same values).

I hope you will find your problem soon.

You're welcome. Let me guess: the 16 microsteps on the driver was the problem?

No. the settings in Marlin.
Anyway I don't understand why when it's drawing (I am using a pen ) X is going slower than Y?
Should I change something with speeds?
Sorry! My knowledge about electronics is below "zero".
But I'm learning.
