Hello,
i just tested my cnc, ist working fine so far, i only have a problem with the angle between x and y. when i make a square from 100 by 100 mm the x axis runs out of the 90° angle with around 0.5mm. I measured the distance of the portal to the left and right holder for the steel tubes, and this might be the problem, even when i manually move one axis a little bit while opening the pulley screws, its going back after a while to the old position. i also measured the distance from the printed parts om the portal to the aluminium tubes and this looks correct,
is there a description who to do and measure this correctly?

Re: calibrate the axis and xy angle
Sounds like the calibration may be off.
Start with the melts and roller assenblies checking ofr a binding condition. If you can hook up a amp meter and measure each motor singliluary.
Once motors are tuned then you need to start each axis calibration.
Some folks call it treammeling.
Here is a good you tube video to give a general idea on what and how to get it calibrated.
