Saving the GRBL settings

Message par Inevergiveup »

I am using a Makita rt0701c router. Min speed is 10000 RPM, max is 30000 RPM.
I have the spindle dial set to 6 (full speed) and when I connect to the STM32 using my laptop and arduino or bCNC to change $30 from 1000 to 30000 and $31 from 0 to 10000. It takes when I check using $$. But when the machine is powered down it loses these settings. How do I save these settings and make them default. When I run a program I see it giving a RPM of 1000 on the display.

I have Fusion 360 set with the speeds correctly in the post processor.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

I do not understand why you try to change the parameters for a makita router. I expect that the makita has a potentiometer to adjust the rpm. So changing the spindle rpm in GRBL has no impact because the makita is not controlled by the PWM signal but only by the ON/OFF relay.

Anyway, other users also had the issue that the GRBL parameters here not saved after a power down. The reason is a fake STM32F103C6 on their blue pill.
