everything has gone crazy
everything has gone crazy
so im in the process of switching to the rs cnc32 however ity seems the thing is going nuts. once powered up the motors kind of stutter there way along to the endstops and then the spindle motor comes on once they are activated. i have checked my wiring over and over again i have reflashed the firmwares multiple times. all was working fine before the switch
Re: everything has gone crazy
Put some jumpers to desactivate endstop, unplug your spindle, unplug 2 steppers, test one thing per one thing, it can be everything (RX TX -> TX RX ? , etc....) try to isolate the problem.

Re: everything has gone crazy
Yes, isolate the problem, but that seems to be a defectuous STM32 bluepill.
Can you post videos of that you told and photos of the electronic please

Re: everything has gone crazy
hi sorry its taken a while to get back to you but here's where i'm at, all the craziness stopped when i changed the blue pill but now i have no movement at all, there is power to the steppers cos they will not turn freely when powered up. the screen shows some very strange behaviour that i have taken some photos of also i have attached some photos of my wiring.

Hello C4beard,
I thought we could only choose between FR, EN and DE for the language of the STM-32. Looks like you managed to install a new language

- Check the wires connections with the DUPONT connectors, of the link between the GRBL 32bits board and the GRBL adpter board.
- Make this link with shielded cables like recommended in the assembly manual at step 54.
- Check the solders (19 pins barrettes) of your STM-32
