End mills on the RS-CNC32

Message par Makewoodworking »

Hello,
I‘m new to this forum and also new to cnc milling.
I started to build my own in RS-CNC.
And I thought someone could help me with my leftover questions.
First I don’t have any experience with end mills. So I Hope you have some recommendations for me.
I want to mill wood, pcb and maybe aluminium.
My second question ist about dust shoe. Has somebody design and build one for the RS-CNC?

Thanks
Felix :)

Good Morning Everyone,

just want to ask if anyone has experience with end mill for flattening the wasteboard?
I leveled my portal area good as I can but still have differences in height on Y-axes.
So I thought to mill down the wasteboard is the easiest way. But I Don't know how to do it in estlcam and which end mill to use.

I hope that you guys have tried out!

Thanks Felix.

I flatten the wastboard using this one in 20mm diameter. Works great. Can't help you with estlcam though as I'm using Fusion 360 (just defined a "Face" operation).
