Hello,
i consider upgrading my I3R to I3RS. So I want to re-use as many parts as possible.
Are there any of the printed parts that can be re-used?
cheers

Problems with Hotend

Re: Burned power FET on Ramps 1.4 Board
Hi, glad to hear that you recovered your ramps. I think that putting two fet in parallel is useless for two reasons. First, because one can drain enough current to supply more than a dozen heated bed while dissipating less than a quarter of a watt. So I let you imagine when supplying only one heate...

Re: New Extruder on IR-R
Hi,
I assume the parts have to be printed wiht ABS since PLA might not stand the heat around the hot End.
Ernst
I just saw the question is obsolete, the parts listing for the ir-rs states anyway what materil to use.

Burned power FET on Ramps 1.4 Board

Before i decided to order a new board, i browsed the web and found the following site http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?219,792911 The i...

Ramps LCD always on?
Hello,
I am about to finish my I3-R 3D Printer. What confuses me is that the Ramps/Arduino is still on when i switch the Powersupply off. As long as the computer is on the Arduino is on.
Is it that it gets the power from the PSU and the USB in paralell?
regards
Ernst
