Just so I understand this correctly, the shielding in the pictures / diagrams is the shielding that is already part of the cable? You are just cutting the wire to put in the dupont connector but continuing with the shielding in the cable to whatever length you need?

GRBL board arrived 2 days ago. Unfortunately one of the capacitors was broken off when I opened package but I think I can solder it back on.
