Solidworks CAM / CAMWorks GRBL Post
Hello, If anyone is interested in using Solidworks CAM or CAMWorks then I've put together a post processor for our machines. It's hosted on github at https://github.com/msbealo/GRBL-Post . It's still under testing and development but I think it looks about right. I've been testing it on my controlle...

Re: Candle issue
I'm glad that you've managed to sort this out, if it continues then I suggest that you test controlling the maching directly. I've had very similar issues when I run gcode on UGS and connect with a USB cable. The wisdom at the time was that a USB connection is not reliable enough and you need to run...

Re: Machine Restarts After Corner Finder G-Code
Did you find a solution to this problem? I'm considering buying a corner probe (from Oozenest) but wanted to know if it'll work in X,Y and Z.

Stepper motor noise
Hello In an attempt to reduce stepper motor noise from my RS-CNC32, I purchased some DM542T stepper motor driver from StepperOnline (https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/digital-stepper-driver-10-42a-20-50vdc-for-nema-17-23-24-stepper-motor-dm542t.html) and some NEMA23 replacements from Ooznest (2305HS...

Re: Homing Position and Axis Direction
mstrens, Thank you for your reply. That sounds like a wierd convension and I'd be interested to understand why. Coming from a 3D printer background it seems a little, well, backwards. I imagine that from a milling background it makes more sense. Out of interest, where would i need to make the change...

Homing Position and Axis Direction
Hello, This is my first post. I've just finished contructing my first CNC Router and have largly managed up until now. I'm now getting everything working and I'm a little confused with homing positions and axis directions. I note that this has been discussed recently: https://www.makerfr.com/forum/v...

Re: Achat du kit sur aliexpress ?
HTheatre, Thank you. I've only just seen your reply so I think it's too late for me. I struggled on regardless and nearly have a complete machine. Maybe this addendum should be placed next to the assembly manual on the main page? There are quite a few other areas that I had to solve with the kit and...

This was exactly my experience. He probably got the two of us confused.
