Re: Missing steps
Definitely a temperature problem. I installed a 220V cooler and it hasn't complained since. I hope it stays this way. I found that this might be a problem with these drivers in a CNC forum that said 12V regulators shutdown when heated too much, but I can't find the source now.

Re: Missing steps
I need to do some more tests, but it may be related to driver temperature. I had them with no active cooling and putting a cooler pointing directly to them seems to have solved the issue. I couldn't test it extensively, so I will come back with more results when I have them

Re: Missing steps
Yes, the TFT is not connected to the board. I'll try to dig into the problem again this week. I'll post any results (good or bad )

Re: Missing steps
Unfortunately no, my TFT screen came somewhat defective, as soon as I flash the firmware and try to switch it on, it starts beeping furiously. I haven't had the time to check the reason for this behaviour.Did you try from SD card ?

Re: Missing steps
Do you use a SD card or a computer via USB for milling? I use a computer with Pronterface. I previously tried with Octoprint, to which I attribued these errors. Is the Z handwheel easy to turn by hand ? No hard points ? There is no hard point, it turns pretty smoothly. There is only one thing after...

Re: Missing steps
Didn't work for me. Z stopped moving while drilling tray holes. Do you think ordering new drivers is a possible solution?Try with that :
go to firmware > configuration.h
find #define always_check_endstop 1 and change the value to 0.

Re: Generating gcode from fusion 360
Oh, I see, I thought that was already included in the GCODE of the part itself. Well then the only change I would do would be G1 Z3 (or whatever clearence is right); G1 X0 Y0; G1 Z0; M5; But i'm no expert or anything like it

Re: Missing steps
Happens to me too. I am cutting 18mm MDF. It happened both at 300 and 1000 mm/min. I am using a 6mm, 2-flute flat endmill. It happend during multiple types of milling. 1) 2D contour, using ramp, 3mm (or 6mm maybe, but pretty sure it was 3) depth of each pass. 2) Hole cutting, This was most dangerous...

Re: Generating gcode from fusion 360
The post processor works great. The only thing I would change would be G1 X0 Y0 before G1 Z0; M5;. That way if the tray is not exactly misaligned you won't scratch it (or worse) when returning home. Would this be an issue somehow?

Re: Signes pour conférence
Le dust-shoe est excellent! Est-ce que tu as pu sortir les STL de Fusion? J'amerai bien ne devoir pas être au côté de la CNC tout le temps
